At the same time, if you're applying for a specific job that doesn't highlight tuition assistance, just ask at your job interview! Your potential employer may offer tuition reimbursement that is not advertised, or it may be a benefit that they're willing to try in order to get new employees.

Midwest Tuition Exchange

This is a tuition reduction program that makes attending out-of-state colleges more affordable for non-resident students.  By enrolling in a MSEP program at a participating institution, you will receive a reduced tuition rate.  Over 140 colleges in Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota and Wisconsin participate.  Actual savings will vary from school to school.  Participating students will typically realize savings between $500 and $3,000 annually.  Search for participating schools and programs and learn more at http://msep.mhec.org

There are opportunities for out-of-state tuition reduction programs for students who are seeking to attend college outside of Missouri. Check to see if the schools you are applying to offer such programs (i.e. border state tuition).
