Test Preparation

Semester 2: ACT PREP opportunities

Choose from 2 COMPREHENSIVE ACT prep classes: These include a textbook, multiple hours of instruction, and individualized reviews. These are our best ACT prep options at Marquette!

1. The next comprehensive course will offer an AM & PM prep before the February exam (priority will be given to MHS 11th & 12th grade students). Comprehensive courses are the best prep option as the cost includes a textbook, many instructional hours, and individualized reviews!

  • The AM course meets from 7:13 - 8:13 AM on Friday, Jan. 9 - Friday, Feb. 13 (these cannot take place of a zero hour class).

  • The PM course meets from 3:25 - 4:55 PM on Monday, Jan. 12 - Wednesday, Feb. 11

  • Learn more & register for this AM or PM comprehensive prep at Comprehensive ACT Prep Registration

2. The last comprehensive course will offer an AM & PM prep before the April ACT exams (priority will be given to MHS 11th grade students).

  • The AM course will likely run from February 24 - April 6 (these cannot take place of a zero hour class).
  • The PM course will likely run from March 3 - April 6
  • Learn more & register for this AM or PM comprehensive prep at Comprehensive ACT Prep Registration: April & beyond

While the following will not take place of a comprehensive class, due to demand, we'll also offer a few short, free sessions with these specific purposes:

  • Mustang Challenge: JUNIORS & SENIORS may join us in the accelerated ACT prep class as we spend one afternoon per subject in February (Feb. 17 - 23, likely 3:25 - 4:55 PM) practicing the most challenging test items & reviewing advanced concepts on the ACT exam. This is suggested for juniors/seniors who have a proficient understanding of the subject matter BEFORE taking this class and/or have scored a 27 or above on an ACT exam. This is NOT a comprehensive class so there is no pretest or textbook. Free, BUT STUDENTS MUST REGISTER. Learn more & register at ACT Challenge 2026
  • Mustang Advantage: if your junior or senior has scored between 17 - 20 on an ACT exam and you are interested in learning if there will be a FREE 1 -2 hour small group review this semester, please fill out this Interest Form

  • Free "mini" (1 Week) ACT exam overview: this session is open to ALL MARQUETTE students, grades 9 - 12, and will meet in late April. Details will be shared after April 7 on Parent Square.
