Special Instructions for Registering for the ACT
Do you need to know how to register for the ACT, but the only other time you've taken the test was as a junior during the free exam at school? Here are instructions on how to link your previous scores to your MyACT account.
Students wishing to participate in an ACT should sign up as early as possible for available dates. Rockwood only serves ACT in the capacity as test locations on behalf of ACT and is not able to secure or save spots for RSD students. As such, Rockwood must comply with all rules, guidelines and administration directions provided by ACT. If you have any questions regarding the ACT and the National test dates, please contact ACT directly at ACT.org.

Test Fee Waivers
Students who receive free or reduced school meals are eligible for ACT fee waivers (in addition to the District ACT for all juniors) during high school. Eligible students can email their MHS College Counselor for a fee waiver code.
ACT Accommodations
An IEP or 504 plan, receiving ELL services, or having a medical diagnosis does not automatically guarantee extended time or other accommodations on the ACT exam. For National ACT Testing, students will initiate the request for accommodations at the time they register for the exam. Then, forward the ACT email to the student’s IEP case manager, 504 coordinator or counselor with the request to apply for testing accommodations. Once a student is approved, the accommodations continue for future ACT testing while in high school. Complete information can be found here about ACT Testing Accommodations
