Note

It is strongly recommended for students to enroll in A+ and have a plan in place to meet all program requirements by September 30th of senior year.

The deadline for students to enroll in the A+ Program is January 31st of senior year. Those seniors considering or have received approval to graduate early (in January) need to enroll by September 30th to ensure all program requirements are met by the end of first semester.

What is the A+ Program?

Students who graduate from an A+ designated high school may qualify for state-paid financial incentives to attend a public community college or vocational/technical school in Missouri. Some private vocational/technical schools are also A+ eligible. Administration of the scholarships for the A+ Program is coordinated through the Missouri Department of Higher Education and Workforce Development (MDHEWD). Additional details can be found by visiting MDHEWD.

Four-year colleges and universities do not directly participate in A+. However, a rising number of Missouri schools are offering institutionally funded incentives for students who meet our program's criteria.
